A discectomy is the surgical removal of herniated disc material that presses on a nerve root or the spinal cord and causes pain, numbness or weakness of the leg.


1-2 night Hospital Stay | 3-6 Hours long

A posterior lumbar interbody fusion joins two or more bones (vertebral bodies) in the lower spine together in order to stop abnormal motion at that area.

Carpal tunnel release is a surgery that divides the transverse carpal ligament in order to relieve the pressure on the median nerve. This surgery treats carpal tunnel syndrome.

A laminectomy is a surgical procedure that widens the spinal canal by trimming the lamina (roof) of the vertebra to create more room for the nerves.


1 night Hospital Stay | 1-2 Hours long

An anterior cervical discectomy with fusion relieves pressure on the spinal cord and nerve roots by removing the disc(s) and part of the bone.

Epidural steroid injection is a technique in which corticosteroids are injected into the epidural space around the spinal cord in an effort to alleviate pain.
